The life of a transplant recipient is full of changes. When the Liver Team doctor up in Rochester received the lab report on the blood draw that was done on Matt down here at Schuyler Hospital today, he decided it was time to treat the mild rejection more aggressively.

I received a call from Melissa just before church this morning-she called to say that Matt called and said she could come and pick him up! The liver doctor said that the biopsy indicates the liver is doing

Fellow pilgrims,
On the way home from the journey to celebrate his cousin Dan's wedding, and to attend the service for burying his grandfather's ashes, Matt stopped in Rochester to have the postponed biopsies. That was on Monday. He was in a lot of pain after the procedure but didn't think too much of it. As the week progressed he also developed some pain on the right side in his lower abdomen.
